Thanksgiving Day 2009

Besides a major mishap with Noah, we had such a great Thanksgiving!  You see, Noah was playing outside with his cousins..and being the boy he is, he fell on the pavement and cracked his tooth!  I didnt realize how bad it was until i took him to the dentist on that next monday.  Long story short, he had to have his tooth pulled!  Poor Noah, but i am so proud of him.  He was such a trooper.  I am so thankful to God that it was just that and nothing worse!

Snow Day!!

It started snowing yesterday evening, and then continued off and on throughout the night!  We woke up to 1/2 inch to 1 inch of snow!  The kids were so excited!  The pics will tell...but Priscilla wasnt quite as excited as the boys.  Once she fell in the snow, that was it for her!  Hopefully we will get some more snow this year..maybe even a white Christmas!  It doesnt even feel like i am living in texas this is very unusual weather for our area!  But, i will welcome this kind of weather anytime.  The highs did not even reach over freezing today!  I cant even imagine how it would feel if i lived in the north!

Feelings

I  feel out of place..the don't belong kind of feeling. It's not the greatest feeling.  I know life isn't perfect and there are good days and bad, but this is a lingering feeling i've had for a while now. 

Another thing i don't like is people being fake.  Why can't we just be ourselves arounnd everybody?  Why does everything have to be so separate?  It feels like everyone is off in their own little worlds, and there is no togetherness.  Does that make any sense?  Maybe the better word is fellowship. Dont get me wrong..I love my life, my husband, my kids, my family.  I'm thankful for my friends who are there for me, no matter what.

The one place that I should feel like I belong, that I'm wanted...I'm not.

I guess that's it for now.  I had to get this "off my chest" somehow, before i could relax and go to bed.

October Fun

Here are just some random pics i have taken this past month(oct and some nov) of the kids.  David's last soccer game was Oct 31 and him and his team played such a great game!  He also made his first goal!  When he got his trophy he said, "Dad this is the BEST trophy ever!"  He is also doing so good in school!  Very relieved that he got his smarts from his daddy.  Noah is just as crazy as ever.  His two favorite phrases are, "what r u doing", and "Yeah".  He is my comical boy..he cracks me up all the time. Him and Priscilla have become really close lately and have been playing together a lot!  Priscilla amazes me every day.  She is growing up so fast!  She is a loud one i might say!  But you can tell she already looks up to her brothers and tries to copy a lot of "stuff" they do!  These pics below will be a testament to that.  Just thinking...this Christmas will probably be the craziest one we have ever had!  But, with that in mind..let us not forget the reall reason we celebrate Christmas....the birth of Jesus Christ! I think a lot of times with al the craziness of presents, parties, plays, etc...we just get so busy and put a side what Christmas is all about. I love each and everyone of you!  And may everyone have a safe and blessed Christmas season!

Priscilla is One!

I just can't believe it...my baby girl is 1 yr old.  She actually turned 1 yr old October 16.  She is growing up way too fast!  But, i thank God everyday for blessing us with such healthy and great kids!  He never ceases to amaze me!  More pics to come!

I took some cute pics today of Priscilla in her bath robe.  Once she is grown, she will probably not like me for taking these!  But, i could'nt resist...they were just too cute!  Then David started feeling left out, and so he wanted to be a part of the pics!

Breakthrough for Priscilla

I have been having the hardest time getting Priscilla to take a sippy cup.  She just thought it was a toy.  But, today i think she just realized that her milk and drinks can actually be drank from something else than a bottle!  Yeah for our Cilla Girl!!

David's 5th Birthday

Here are just a few pics of presents David got for his birthday. We had a party for him with his church friends, on last wednesday night.  He had a great time!  He got lots of great gifts...but one of his favorites was the transformers tank on top of his cake...go figure. The best gift he said he got was the 49ers uniform from his Nani...i did let him wear it 2 days straight...but today we WILL be taking it off!  Why 49ers??  Because that's one of Daddy's favorite teams!!

Happy Birthday David!

Today, my oldest boy David turns 5!  He has grown up so fast.  This year he is playing soccer(i will post soccer pics later)  and is having a blast and is in school and loves it!  He is also in the "question asking phase" about EVERYTHING!  The other night, him and his dad were having a conversation about Jesus--some pretty neat stuff! The Lord has blessed us with a really great Boy!  I am just so excited to see all that God has planned for him in the next coming years!
