The most exciting news i have happened a few weeks ago. On Sunday, February 21, 2010 my 5 1/2 yr old son, David gave his life to Christ! I was playing alter music for the service, and our special speaker, Randy Phillips(creator of the human video) gave an invite. It was a pretty simple one, anyone could have understood. So then, Randy, proceeded on to say, if you would like to give your life to Jesus Christ for the first time, dont be ashamed and raise your hand really high by the count of three. Well, im guessing David was so excited he just couldnt wait. Pretty much on the count of one he had raised his hand. Like i said, previously, i was playing alter music at this time and Joe was sitting with David. Joe brought David down to the alter to pray with him. I really wanted to watch all that was going on, but i couldn't, or i would have just broke down crying, while playing the piano! Well, i could just go on and on about how excited we were! Its the most greatest experience i've had so far as being a parent, seeing my son dedicate his life to Jesus Christ! He stills talks about it to this day!
Then, my son Noah will be turning 3 on May 2. I just cant believe how quickly he has turned into a big boy! It just seems like the other day he was just a baby! Soon, he will be in kids church with us...which im sure will be very interesting. His best friend, Taylor will also be in kids church with us which will add a lot more excitement. Its just so cute how they just love to play with each other. Yes, they do fight like brother and sister sometimes. But, overall they are inseprable! Another big milestone for him will be in September when he starts preschool. Im sure, with his personality, he will keep his teacher very busy!
Let's not forget about my baby girl, Priscilla. She is my dancing queen! If Priscilla hears music, she will ALWAYS be dancing! Oh yes, she is entering into that very fun toddler stage. She is almost 1 1/2 yrs old. My baby girl adds so much joy to my life as my two boys do also!
I am so blessed with my family and friends! Jesus Christ never ceases to amaze me!
We also got quite a bit of snow these past few months. So here are a few pics! Hope you enjoy!
Priscilla is not a big fan of the snow, so she decided to stay inside the whole day!
We ended up getting 6-7 inches that day! That's a lot of snow to us Texans, especially in West Texas!
The snow was so powdery that all we could make was a snowmound. The snow wouldn't stay compact enough the make a reall snowman! But we had fun anways!
